About “The Fun Club”

Glacier Falls Figure Skating Club, founded in 1961, was the first skating club in Orange County, southern California and has been a member of the United States Figure Skating Association for over 50 years.  Our home ice is The Rinks – Anaheim ICE with a secondary ice surface at The Rinks – Westminster ICE.  To further serve our membership, the club hosts monthly test sessions at Iceland in Paramount.

Known as “The Fun Club”, GFFSC is a community of athletes, families, and professionals coming together to encourage participation, achievement, and interest in figure skating.  A variety of programs are provided to support competitive as well as recreational skating.  We foster a safe, healthy, and fun environment where athletes can compete on a local, national, and international level.

The club annually hosts one of the largest summer competitions in the United States, The Glacier Falls Summer Classic.  Held the last weekend in July, events are offered for first time competitors to national and international champions.  In addition, The Club has been honored to host numerous Regional Championships, National Championships, and a Junior Grand Prix.

Glacier Falls Figure Skating Club is registered with the IRS as a 501c3 corporation.  There are several categories for membership, including primary membership, secondary membership,  collegiate membership and “friends of Glacier Falls”.  Please contact us if you need additional information.
